So, I was craving for bagnet and found myself succumbing to this deep fried crispy pork belly one Friday afternoon. This dish originated from Vigan, the place where Hispanic towns and European architecture were carefully preserved. A place I want to visit really soon. :) Anyway, I was always curious about bagnet and when a friend of mine mentioned about this great bagnet place in Makati, I instantly asked Mr. Google about it. The place is 8065 Bagnet situated in Estrella St. San Antonio Village Makati City. According to my research, the restaurant was owned by Kitchie Nadal's (Filipino singer & songwriter- for those who dont know her) brother. Aside from their scrumptious bagnet, they also offer great cinamon roll which we really enjoyed. Although, I guess the cinammon roll would taste better if it was eaten there, since I bought mine for take out. But still, it tastes heavenly.
There are several variety of bagnet to choose from at 8065 Bagnet. I ordered Spicy Ginataang Bagnet while my officemates ordered, sisig bagnet, dinuguang bagnet, kare kareng banget and binagoongang bagnet. I tasted them all! haha! I think my favorite is sisig bagnet, although all of them are delectable. My comment on their spicy ginataang bagnet is that I wish they make it spicier and the gata a little less sweeter. Nevertheless, I'd still recommend it. :) Will I go back to this place? Definitely a BIG YES! And next time, I'll make sure I have all the time in the world to enjoy it. The first time I was there, I guess it only took me 10 minutes to finish my food as we were already late for work. The main reason why this blog was created is to break free from boredom. Now that is exactly what I’m doing. Glad I found something entertaining to do here in the office and that is to answer this very easy Spot the difference game from Finance and Accounting dept. Although it only costs me about 2 minutes to find them all, the interruption was very welcoming. Now I’m stuck here again bored big time! So what to do? I really have no idea! Can’t check my facebook and twitter account since social networking sites are blocked here in the office. Talk about KILL JOY!!The only thing I can think of to wake up from this lethargic state is to drink some coffee.But too bad, I’m too lazy to stand and fix myself a cup of coffee. I often wonder what other people do when they are bored??? Since I’m too sluggish, I can’t even think of anything to write in here. So now you know what happens next……Another unfinished post!Hahaha! Interesting song and yes it happens in real life. I'm not really a huge fan of Sponge Cola, but I do love a couple of their songs. My sudden interest and love for this band was due to a friend's influence and I might say, I'm glad he did. Anyway, the release of this song was just on time as I was suffering with the same dilemma. Although we are not yet a couple and just starting to get to know each other, but still, there is a big chance that a romantic relationship might build up. Anyway, it is indeed AWKWARD, especially if the person is a good friend.
